How to Apply

Applications for UCLA study abroad scholarships must be submitted through the UCLA Scholarship Portal (except for a few offered directly by academic departments). Your first step is to complete the General Application, which is required for all students.

For most study abroad scholarships, submitting the Global Bruins Scholarship application is all you need. If you meet the eligibility criteria, you’ll automatically be considered for multiple scholarship opportunities.

A few scholarships still require separate applications. The chart below outlines which application is needed for each scholarship.

Please Note: Scholarships are competitive and not guaranteed, so we encourage you to apply early and explore multiple funding options.
