Research programs based on your study abroad goals
- Visit the UCEAP website and explore all that UCEAP has to offer! Use the filters to search by location, academic discipline, experience type, or term abroad.
- Here is a tip to help in the process:
- Explore our pre-recorded webinars to learn more on the basics of studying abroad, guide you in your academic planning, and provide insight into student experiences
Bookmark Application Deadlines
- Deadlines can be as early as 9 months, or potentially as late as 4 months before the start of the program.
- Some programs are highly-impacted and we strongly recommend students to apply as early as possible, as most are first-come, first-served.
- Check out our UCEAP Deadlines page to plan ahead.
Complete UCEAP Application online
- Select “Apply Now” on the individual UCEAP program page.
- You will be prompted to create an account on the UCEAP Portal Website to access an application.
- Review the application instructions and requirements.
- Submit the application in the UCEAP Portal.
- After submitting the UCEAP application, then you can submit the UCLA IEO Online Questionnaire found on the UCEAP Application Instructions and Requirements.
- This submission finalizes your UCEAP application.
- The timestamp of this submission is used for highly-impacted first-come, first-served programs.
Notification of Acceptance
- Students will be notified of their acceptance within 6 weeks after the application deadline.
- For most programs, provided students meet and maintain the program’s eligibility, they should be participating on the program they applied to!
Note: Students are not required to meet with a study abroad advisor to submit an application, but we are here to help you navigate the process, where needed.
