Each 30–45 minute episode blends narrative, interviews, and soundscapes into an immersive audio journey.

Your general role & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Design and edit monthly podcast episodes.

Company Description: Wet Designs is an apparel and merchandise company focused on designing and producing localised, high-quality products to champion local cultures. From starting our first brand (Wet Tee Shirt) as a home-based side-project, we now own and manage five brands, retail in six outlets. We also have both an office and an apparel printing studio based in Singapore.
Intern Role and Responsibilities: Your general role & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Review and audit existing marketing assets to determine and act on possible areas of
    improvement. Specifically our existing retail channel’s visual merchandising and pricing strategy,
    our online channels product description and pricing strategy, Wet Designs corporate profile,
    individual brand writeups.
  • Perform market research on competitors to scope out what channels they are on, what marketing angles they adopt, the partners they work with. Subsequently work with the team to build and execute a course of action to replicate as much of what they do into our individual brands and company.

Company Description: At Artificial Intelligence Research Group, we have created the world’s most secure temperature sensor. We now have four US patents and are starting to work with a global partner expert in the temperature field. Why this matters? Many industries depend on Temperature to monitor and take action. With sensors now embedded in IOT our solution eliminates the possibility of manipulation. In these turbulent times as you move into a zero-trust world where everything is connected, it is vital that you can rely on the temperature data that you use to monitor, manage, and control your systems, processes, and smart contracts.

Intern Role and Responsibilities: Your general role and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Project 1 – The intern will create a 5-minute sales and marketing video targeting a technical audience in the temperature sensor industry. They will outline the content and develop different versions to test on different audiences. The video will effectively communicate the problem, CERA’s solution, competitor analysis, regulatory drivers, and the benefits of choosing CERA. Through this project, the intern will showcase their video production skills and ability to convey technical information to a specialized audience.
  • Project 2 – The intern will develop a 1-minute sales and marketing video aimed at a non-technical audience, particularly senior managers. Taking ownership of the project, they will conduct research to suggest additional content and work closely with the team to create different versions of the video. This project will demonstrate the intern’s ability to distill complex technical concepts into a concise and compelling message for a non-technical audience.
  • Project 3 – The intern will research and create a PowerPoint sales and marketing presentation that can be customized for different audiences. This presentation will combine technical explanations and the business case from the previous projects. Collaborating with the team, the intern will outline the content and generate different versions of the presentation. This project will showcase the intern’s ability to create versatile and tailored presentations that effectively communicate CERA’s value proposition to various stakeholders.
  • Project 4 – The intern will conduct in-depth research for a 5-year forecast, gathering insights on the Total Addressable Market, Growth curves, Service Addressable Market, Service Obtainable Market, and the competitive landscape. Utilizing various resources such as search engines, databases, and potential customer interactions facilitated by the university, the intern will provide valuable market insights. This project will demonstrate the intern’s research capabilities and their ability to analyze market trends.

Intern Role and Responsibilities: Your general role and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Project 1 – The intern will be working on Drafting legal documents; drafting international trade and investment agreement, share transfer agreement, letter of demand, research foreign investment policies, dispute solutions. The intern may also need to translate and review the legal documents or evidence materials or legal articles depending on the cases.
  • Project 2 – As a legal assistant, you will have a chance to review legal documents, draft and revise legal documents including legal memo when needed, reviewing purchase agreement, MOAs and LoI and service agreement; review evidence of international trade cases, analysis of the cases and research the relevant laws and provide solutions of handling the cases.
  • Project 3 – The Intern will research legal documents, foreign investment laws in specific countries, for example the Chinese laws related to foreign investment and providing suggestions for clients how they are going to invest here and BIAs. Also, the intern may be able to communicate with other lawyers when the cases needed.
  • Project 4 – The intern may be involved in drafting legal agreements, writing articles on various practices of commercial laws, arbitration, business, and financial laws under the keen supervision of the assigned supervisor. The intern is expected to reference all legal research materials and sources used in executing the draft articles.

Lightup Impact (Austria)

Company Description: Lightup Impact is a unique community of 100+ early-stage grassroots organizations in gender and health in East Africa. We empower the founders of these organizations to scale their impact and become sustainable through networking and peer-to-peer support, partnerships, skills, and capacity development and guidance. With our work, we have impacted over 100 of our non-profit members in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Tanzania. We have connected them in our online community through 13 online community meetups and three in-person events to foster collaboration. Our annual conference in 2022 gathered an outstanding number of 33 member organizations from East Africa and 40 participants from academia, the gender department, and civil society.

Intern Role and Responsibilities: Your general role and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Project 1 – The intern will support policy drafting for our non-profit organization. Required policies could range from HR, gender and non-discrimination, child protection, financial management, and board management. We would like the intern to be able to independently draft such policies under the supervision of the direct supervisor and our legal consultant
  • Project 2 – The intern will be in charge of collecting and drafting relevant contract templates such as letters of intent, MOUs, sponsorship, consultancy, and employment agreements. Together with our partnership manager the intern might be involved in contract review negotiations and make sure that agreements are properly signed. The intern will also improve negotiation skills, email communication with partners, and contract management skills.
  • Project 3 – The intern may support us with setting up the legal entity of our NGO in Kenya. This will require research of documentation online and creating a workflow and digital toolkit for this process. The digital toolkit will be used to facilitate this process with other organizations we work with in Kenya. Tasks could range from drafting our founding document (constitution), a community agreement, rules and processes for board management, and setting up a process to identify the right board members. Learning material over the board management life cycle will be provided.
  • Project 4 – The intern will be involved in research activities like collecting template policies for different NGOs at early and growth stages and documenting adaptations that might be needed over the course of our growth as an organization. As part of the research process, the intern will learn about public policy and familiarize with public policy processes and tools.
  • Project 5 – The intern may be involved in a policy writing workshop for other NGOs in our network during the internship process. The intern will be able to share the knowledge acquired in a webinar format and provide useful templates and learnings to other organizations. Through this process, communication, presentations and networking skills will also be strengthened.

  • Project 1 – Business Analysis: The intern will apply their business skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, real-world environment. The intern may be tasked with helping plan and design business processes and recommending improvements, performing research and analysis to support operations, or estimating costs and benefits of multiple actions or solutions and providing recommendations. In addition, the intern will need to analyze data and identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement. They will need to work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders to ensure that the project’s goals are achieved.
  • Project 2 – Business Development: The project provides the intern with the opportunity to apply their business skills and knowledge in a practical, real-world setting. The project involves various tasks, including gaining first-hand knowledge of the company’s current business partners and cooperation and assisting in identifying potential partners that can add value to the company’s business and benefit clients. The intern will also be involved in both internal and external meetings, business negotiations, and become familiarized with an entrepreneurial working environment.
  • Project 3 – Business Reporting: The project requires the intern to take responsibility for supporting the reporting of a key business, customer, or project. The project may involve conducting research on the initiative, interviewing project stakeholders, and reviewing key quantitative outcomes. The intern will then assist in drafting or editing the full business report, which may include the addition of infographics or graphs, as well as plain text. In addition, the intern may also need to work collaboratively with other members of the team, including graphic designers, to produce high-quality reports that effectively communicate key information and insights.
  • Project 4 – Business Proposal Support: The aim of the project is for the intern to assist in reviewing the company’s current business proposal template and information in order to create a well-rounded and improved full proposal.   • Project 1 – Publishing stories daily for our Local Digital Projects: As part of our Local Digital Projects, the intern will be tasked with the daily publication of 3-6 stories. These stories are rewritten versions and require only 1-2 hours of work each day. The intern will follow the procedures specified in our Academy and utilize tools like Qullbot and ChatGPT to ensure high-quality content. This role presents a great opportunity for the intern to contribute to our project’s success and gain experience in content publishing using modern AI-powered tools.
  • Project 2 – CRM & Marketing Lead Generation: The intern will play a crucial role in conducting market analysis to identify potential leads that align with our industry and are situated in high-growth markets. The project will involve initial research to pinpoint target markets and key areas of interest. Through data mining and research, the intern will generate lead lists to support the marketing team’s efforts. They will have the opportunity to closely observe the current sales cycle and outcomes to determine the most valuable customer profile and essential characteristics for successful customers. Once approved by the Business Development team, the intern will commence prospecting their own leads, meticulously inputting all data and metrics into the CRM system. The intern will work in harmony with the Marketing team’s lead generation efforts and adhere to the established Business Development process. Based on their scope and skills, the intern may also contribute to running reports forecasting new business for the next quarter, leveraging insights from new leads.   • Project 4 – Social Media Support: The intern will provide social media support, creating and scheduling content, responding to messages, and analyzing metrics to improve engagement. This project aims to enhance the company’s social media presence while developing the intern’s business skills in social media management and data analysis.

Zora Health (Singapore)

Company Description: Zora Health is a digital platform that simplifies fertility care by driving accessibility, affordability & innovation. Navigating fertility care is often a complex and emotional journey, riddled with confusion and hidden fees. Finding a suitable clinic is overwhelming due to opaque pricing, non-standardised packages, language barriers and high treatment costs.
Previously considered taboo, this high-growth segment faces minimal competition in Southeast Asia, with only 3 fertility tech companies operating in hardware or direct-to-consumer e-commerce. There is also a strong barrier to entry into the fertility care sector, as it requires a deep understanding and high sensitivity. We are already experiencing strong demand, as evidenced by our waitlist of over 128 women in the first launch week.

Intern Role and Responsibilities: Your general role and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Project 1 – The intern may be assigned the task of providing editorial assistance by meticulously scrutinizing content for errors in spelling, grammar, word choice, style, and formatting. They will review edited copy at various stages of the production process to ensure it meets the standards for publication. Additionally, the intern may be responsible for fact-checking editorial content, including articles and data, as well as assisting the layout team in identifying errors or inconsistencies in the formatting of emails, web pages, and PDFs.
  • Project 2 – The intern my support copywriting and content curation efforts by producing clear and compelling copy. They will use their persuasive writing skills to create engaging content for websites, blog posts, product descriptions, email blasts, banner advertising, newsletters, white papers, PSAs, and social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram. The intern will ensure that all copy meets end-user requirements for content, tone, and accessibility while effectively conveying the key message.
  • Project 3 – Story Pitching project: the intern will work on pitching stories and content to various media outlets, PR teams, and partners to secure content publication and sharing opportunities. They may conduct initial research to develop an outreach plan and contact database. Depending on the timeline, the intern may refine the pitching process to enhance its success. This project requires research skills, effective communication, and strategic thinking.
  • Project 4 – The intern will undertake a large-scale research project within a defined focus. They will be responsible for acquiring data, organizing it, analyzing the information, and creating a comprehensive report with key findings. This project will require strong organization, data analysis, data collection, research, written communication, and project management skills. The intern will showcase their ability to handle complex research tasks and deliver valuable insights through the final report.
