Eligible students may apply their UCLA Financial Aid to their study abroad program. This page walks through the steps required to fund a study abroad program and what to expect.

1. Submit FAFSA or CADAA

All students intersted in using UCLA Financial Aid to cover the cost of their study abroad program must complete the Free Application for Federeal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the CA Dream Act Application (CADAA) by the priority deadline.

If a student is studying abroad during the summer and this is their last term as a UCLA student, they will have to complete FAFSA or CADAA one last time.

2. Submit Program-Specific Financial Aid Requirements

Please see below for program-specific financial aid requirements.
