History-Greece: Summer Travel Study Info Session

Study ancient history, philosophy, culture, and the origins of Western Civilization in Greece this summer. The program will visit over 20 archaeological sites, including the Acropolis, the Parthenon, King Agamemnon’s home of Mycenae, and the site of King Minos’ palace in Crete. The program also includes a 7-day cruise to important Greek islands featuring an optional half-day, guided tour to Ephesus in Turkey. This info session is led by Program Directors David Phillips (UCLA History Department) and Darel Engen (Cal State San Marcos) along with Travel Study staff. The session will discuss everything you need to know about the program and what to expect when you arrive including: coursework, excursions, lodging, among other questions related to your daily life while in Greece.
