Colombia is known as the land of magical realism, where everything is possible. Currently, it is one of the fastest growing economies in Latin America and the second most bio-diverse country on the planet! With opportunities in the capital city of Bogota and Medellin, one of the most innovative cities in the world, what better place to pursue your Global Internship than in Colombia!

Internship placements are approximately 8 weeks long. UCLA partner’s with Intern Colombia to place students at internship sites based on personal career goals, interests and experience. While completing the on-site internship, students will also be enrolled in 1 or 2 online courses, earning 4-to-8 units of academic credit. Online courses follow Summer Session A and will last for a total of 10 weeks. Student’s looking to receive financial aid must be enrolled in 2-courses during the program.

I am eager to use the skills I have acquired through this internship in my future career to help further the projects and initiatives of other internationally-based non-profits through increasing their funding through new sources.
