The Global Cities Program has been cancelled for Summer 2021

Maximize Your Summer!

The Global Cities Program is a unique collaboration between partner universities abroad and UCLA. It offers a comparative perspective through coursework and social events that highlights the creativity, economics, social-political and cultural background of the host cities. It provides the opportunity to enjoy a unique academic and cultural experience that combines credit-bearing courses with special events.

This joint program is comprised of two consecutive sessions. For the first 4-5 weeks, you will join a group of local students at the host university. For the last 6 weeks, the same cohort of students come to UCLA to attend Summer Session C.

Choose from one of the following destinations:

Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam)
Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF)
Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC)

Registration & Deadlines

Registration opens November 18th and closes April 1st.  All spaces are first come, first served. Due to the unique settings of this program, each host university will accept up to 10 UCLA students.
