GLOBAL CITIES Summer Program:

Barcelona + Los Angeles

Registration for Global Cities 2020 will begin early January.

The Global Cities Summer Program is a unique collaboration between the University of Pompeu Fabra (UPF) in Barcelona and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). The Global Cities Summer Program offers a comparative perspective through coursework that highlights the creativity, economics, socio-political and cultural background of the host cities.

This joint program is comprised of two consecutive sessions. The same cohort of students learn and live in both cities. In the first session students attend UPF in Barcelona, and in the second session students attend UCLA. This offers students the opportunity to enjoy a unique academic and cultural experience that combines credit-bearing courses with on-site learning activities.
