DESCRIPTION:Experience full immersion in the rich cultural resources\, vibr
 ant social life and political activities of Buenos Aires. You will visit h
 istorical sites\, museums\, tango milongas\, popular theaters\, and obser
 ve political demonstrations. An important component of this program is Co
 mmunity-Based Learning\, an irreplaceable opportunity to be exposed to exp
 eriential learning aimed at enhancing students’ language proficiency\, s
 ocial interaction with locals\, and cultural awareness and understanding t
 hrough the truly meaningful experience of volunteer fieldwork.\n\nThis in
 fo session is led by Program Director Professor Adriana Bergero. The facul
 ty will discuss everything you need to know about the program and what to 
 expect when you arrive including: coursework\, excursions\, lodging\, amon
