SUMMARY:Path to Study Abroad or Away for Undocumented Students
DESCRIPTION:Getting ready to study abroad or away can be a journey unto its
 elf and for undocumented students that journey often collides with systems
  that create additional work or barriers. This workshop embraces the idea 
 that education must center the life experiences of the learner\, and that 
 the goal of learning is to overcome obstacles and empower individuals.\n\n
 Come join a supportive community workshop\, hosted by the UC Davis AB540 &
 amp\; Undocumented Student Center and UC Immigrant Legal Services Center\,
  to reflect on your unique strengths and interests\, and identify potentia
 l constraints and your support network\, as you get ready for your study a
 broad or away program. Hear from your peers who successfully navigated the
  Advance Parole System and studied abroad and learn what resources are ava
